Go to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to observe the natural behavior of brown bears, black bears, musk ox, wolves, reindeer, bison, porcupine, owls, and many more of our wild Alaskan residents. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center provides 200 acres of beautiful, spacious habitat for the incredible wildlife they care for; this unique wildlife sanctuary provides quality care to injured and orphaned Alaskan animals. The center has been featured on many well-known TV shows including National Geographic Wild.

Bear sightings are likely, but not guaranteed, your guide will do their best to find them for you in their large enclosure.

Enjoy a meal stop at a favorite Girdwood pizzeria or deli and finish the tour with a scenic drive back to Anchorage.

Consider upgrading your experience to include a Walk On The Wild Side. Enjoy a tour where your personal guide walks you through the Center, offering history and stories of resident wildlife – and you’ll get to feed an animal! Advance reservations are required for this upgrade. Walk on the Wild Side has varying days of operation depending on the time of the year. Please call us for details.
