Tour Description:
Sit back and enjoy the ride on this full-day journey…
Head down into Alaska’s famous Coastal Rainforest, the mighty Kenai Peninsula.
Along the drive to Seward, your local Alaskan guide will take you to see and photograph the best, sometimes hidden scenery along the way. You’ll search for wildlife and learn local Alaskan knowledge on the way. Your guide will be happy to take photos/videos of your whole group with your cameras enjoying the day. One of our primary goals is to try to avoid crowds.
Upon arriving in Seward, embark on an incredible 6 hour Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise.
Visit an active tidewater glacier and search for wildlife such as orca whales, humpback whales, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, eagles and many species of seabirds. The cruise is complimented by Captain narration and interactive program for kids. Additionally, complimentary deli lunch for all guests with choice of three sandwich options: turkey, roast beef, or vegetarian.
Wind down your adventure with a scenic Alaskan Railroad train ride back to Anchorage. Enjoy an optional Dinner on the train. The Alaska Railroad provides year-round rail transportation throughout Southcentral and Interior Alaska. It traverses almost 500 miles of remote and wild landscapes.
Potential daily wildlife sightings include Moose, Bears, Dall Sheep, Humpback Whales, Orcas, Alaskan Salmon, Puffins, Sea Otters, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, Dall’s Porpoise, Sea Birds, Arctic Tern and Beluga Whales. Our guides will do their best to find wildlife for you on your tour. The probability of wildlife sightings is dependent on the time of year and is not guaranteed.
